Hassell invite you to their Studio Late in partnership with London Festival of Architecture. Explore how architecture practice Hassell is leading space innovation at their London studio, through projects with Nasa, the European Space Agency, Sierra Space and more.
Meet the team of Space Architects, led by Xavier De Kestelier, Head of Innovation and Design at Hassell, see live projects and masterplans and discover how they’re applying methods developed for harsh conditions and extreme environments to locations on earth.
Visitors can also take steps on the moon through a bespoke VR experience, used by NASA astronauts in training, produced with XR simulation partners Buendea. Hassell has been collaborating with Buendea to build their space designs in Unreal 5, the latest gaming engines.
Projects on display include: A sneak-peek of the new Future Lunar Base for The European Space Agency, the Mars Habitat for Nasa and Lower Earth Orbit Station for Sierra Space.
