Every year a major part of the LFA has been our Studio Lates programme, where architecture practices open their doors to both the public and the profession. Studio Lates, traditionally held around four hubs on each Friday in June, have long been a way for studios to celebrate their work.  Many practices value the opportunity to bring their teams together and show off the work they’ve done over the last year.

Studio Lates are not only a great way to engage the public and demystify the work of architects, but also for architects to meet their neighbours and network with each other, all in a fun celebratory atmosphere.

We recognise that this summer, delivering Studio Lates in the same way as usual might still be difficult. However we have some exciting thoughts around how we might deliver the same ambition in new and different ways – still allowing you to celebrate your work and reach a new audience.

Perhaps you’re thinking of running your first Studio Late for the LFA, or maybe you’re a regular participant but wondering how you might need to adapt your event proposals during Covid.

Either way, we’d love for you and your practice to join the LFA team on Wednesday 24th February at 4pm for a zoom call to discuss this year’s Studio Lates programme.

We’ll talk you through the festival plans for architecture practices and our thought on delivering Studio Lates this year. But most importantly we’d love to hear your thoughts – particularly following the Prime Minister’s announcement due on Monday.
